Abstract

The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model is used in this study to investigate the long-term correlations between entrepreneurial attitudes, intents, and other influencing factors among Nigerian higher education students. Recognising the growing importance of entrepreneurship in promoting economic growth and innovation, this study digs into the complex forces that determine entrepreneurial behaviour in Nigeria's changing higher education scene. It explores the effects of education, gender, cultural factors, and religious beliefs on students' attitudes and intentions towards entrepreneurship, using the robust ARDL model. This in-depth examination reveals long-term relationships between these variables, offering useful insights into the entrepreneurial scene among Nigerian higher education students. The study's findings have important policy implications and highlight the need for focused interventions in higher education curriculum development to help students.
