Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) proudly marked the International
Women’s Day celebration with an inspiring event themed #GiveToGain,
reaffirming the Bank’s commitment to advancing gender inclusion and supporting
the growth of women led businesses.
The event held on March 12, 2026, at the Abuja Continental
Hotel, the event convened policymakers, development partners,
entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to reflect on the progress in advancing women’s
economic participation and explore practical pathways to strengthen support for
women entrepreneurs.
The programme featured a keynote address by the former
Finance Minister of Nigeria and former chairman of the Board of African
Export–Import Bank (Mrs. Kemi Adeosun), and a fireside chat session with Ms.
Folakemi Fatogbe and Ms. Ada Osakwe
Through impactful conversations and meaningful collaborations, the event served as a catalyst for collective action toward women’s empowerment and sustainable development.
