Abstract
This study assesses the role of ICT in moderating the influence of financial access on inclusive education in forty-two countries in sub-Saharan Africa. The empirical evidence is based on Generalized Method of Moments. The following main findings are established. First, fixed broadband subscriptions moderate the credit channel to induce a positive net effect on inclusive “primary and secondary education”. Second, mobile phone penetration and fixed broadband subscriptions moderate both the deposit and credit channels to impact inclusive secondary education positively. Third, all ICT dynamics moderate the credit and deposit mechanisms to induce positive net effects on inclusive tertiary education. ICT policy thresholds for complementary policies are provided and discussed.
