Our Commitment

Our climate financing strategy integrates Green Lending, Credit Guarantees, Technical Assistance, and Policy Advocacy. Launched in 2021, and aligned with Nigeria's Net zero 2060 goal and DBN's Accredited Growth Plan (2024 - 2028), the strategy supports green sectors such as renwable energy, agriculture, circular economy, transport, and more.

GCF Accreditation

DBN is proud to be the first and only Nigerian Financial Institution accreditted by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), enabling us to attract and deploy international climate finance to impactful projects.

Executive Round Table Session (ERTS)

Our ERTS provides a plan for industry-wide dialogue and partnerships on climate finance. It convenes financial institutions, regulators, and stakeholders to chart Nigeria’s green finance pathway.
